ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE FOR CAMPUS (OR) EXTENSION CENTRE BASED PROGRAMMES:

Admission to various courses are made, in general, on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination or on the basis of an admission test conducted by the University. However, in cases where common entrance test is prescribed by competent authority, admission will be based on the rank secured in such common entrance test.


EXAMINATIONS :

For all courses which are under semester system examinations will be conducted at end of each semester and in the case of courses under year wise scheme, examinations will be conducted at the end of the academic year.


ACADAMIC YEAR :

The academic year of the University commences on 1st day of May and concludes on 30th day of April. In the case of Semester it commences on any day during the academic year and its duration shall be a minimum of 18 weeks and every academic year consists of two semesters.


PROOF OF AGE:

Supporting documents required for proof of age for recording in the certificate.
a. Attested copy of Birth Certificate from the admission register of the last Institution attended.

b. Birth Certificate from the Registrar of Births and deaths.
(OR)
c. From a recognized hospital signed by (not less than Civil Surgeon).
(OR)
d. Affidavit from parent/guardian or self countersigned by first class magistrate/Notary as Appendix A or B respectively.


CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION:

The admission of a candidate will be canceled and the fee paid will be forfeited on the following grounds:
• Incomplete application form
• Shortage of fee
• Lack of required educational qualifications/documents
• Violation of any of the conditions given in the application form

EXTRA CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

At Viswa Bharathi University student are encouraged to participate actively in various extra curricular and co-curricular activities in order to enrich their personally.

• Sports, outdoor and indoor games to specialized sports like hill mounting, trekking, horse-riding etc.
• Traditional and conventional games and sports to fulfill the needs of all students.
• Intra-University, Inter-University sports and games competition and tournament.
• Management, Informational Technology Meets, Paper presentation, Seminars, Group Discussions, Symposia, Work-shops and Quiz.
• Proving inputs of practical exposure through local, out station and overseas individual visits.
